What is Pediatric Hypnotherapy?

Pediatric Hypnotherapy is the use of hypnosis as a form of healing modality (one of the most effective mind-body therapeutic tool) with Children.

As mentioned many times elsewhere on this website: Hypnosis is a natural phenomenon. It’s a natural state of mind. Children (in-particular) due to their creative nature with such abundant and greater imaginations are already in an altered state (state of heightened/magnifying concentration=hypnotic state) half of the time.

Indeed, Children’s Creative Nature + Abundant/Wonderful Imagination + the No Fear Factor = make them easily entering into the state of hypnosis.

For instance: you may see your own children are often in this natural state of hypnosis when they are playing imaginary games (e.g. pretending being a Spiderman, Wonder Woman, famous singer, movie star, etc.).

When they’re very focus on pretending, on becoming, and on acting as that certain imaginary images of their choices, thus you can witness how they talk, walk, act, and doing things the way that similar or close enough to that particular imaginary images that they’re imagining/visualizing inside their minds.

With Pediatric Hypnotherapy we can help your precious and wonderful Children how to do and use self-hypnosis in order to control negative habits, physical symptoms, and other conditions.

Your Children will learn how to use relaxation techniques and mental images—similar to a daydream or imaginary games—to enter into an altered state of mind (viz. induction into state of hypnosis). Once in this altered state, the Hypnotherapist makes suggestions aimed at producing the desired change in behavior, anxiety level, or symptom intensity.
